Dr. Anderson

Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, Dr. Anderson counts it a privilege to have practiced in Grand Forks, the home town of his wife, Ilene (Monda), since 1976.  They have two grown children, Christie and Tripp.
Dr. Anderson comes from a heritage of dentistry and medicine.  His paternal grandfather was a medical missionary to Korea, leaving the US in 1912 and returning only because of  the Japanese invasion of 1939.  Dr. Anderson’s father was born and raised in Korea but returned to the US to study dentistry. Meet the Dental Office Staff

Christie – Practice Coordinator

“I am the newest member of Dr. Anderson’s staff.  I have been employed here since August of 2010 and am enjoying meeting all of the wonderful patients who have chosen to be in our practice.  I am the office coordinator that handles incoming phone calls, scheduling appointments and all the administrative details of our dental practice.

“I have felt so welcomed by all of Dr. Anderson’s staff and feel I am in the right place at the right time.  Enjoying people and making them feel comfortable and relaxed seems to come naturally for me.  If you are considering calling our practice as a new patient you won’t be disappointed.  Please call me and let me answer any questions you might have.  Looking forward to meeting you!”

Tanya – Dental Assistant

“I enjoy coming to work everyday to be a part of such a great dental team.  I feel we all strive to make our dental office a comfortable environment. My goal as a dental assistant is to make you as comfortable and relaxed as possible.”

Rhonda – Dental Hygienist

“I enjoy being a dental hygienist because I have the opportunity to engage with people who desire to improve their oral health. I believe in encouraging and supporting each patient to take an active role in their dental care.  I appreciate working with Dr. Anderson’s office because I believe in his philosophies on how to practice dentistry.  We focus on quality care from the minute you walk in for your appointment.  The staff is supportive and positive treating each other and their patients like family.”

Mary Beth – Laboratory Assistant

“I enjoy working with Dr. Anderson because he is so gentle, kind, caring and compassionate about his co-workers, patients and the dentistry that he does.  My other co-workers are so willing to go beyond their job descriptions to make our office a great and fun place to be each day.
The lab work I do excites me when I see the results of some of the work I am responsible for .  I fabricate bite splints for patients who have TMJ and headache pain and it’s rewarding to see and hear how their symptoms are either relieved or resolved.
I also do the preparatory  work to have crowns made and then to hear patient’s say “Wow!” when they look in the mirror after the crowns have been placed.  I  feel the  joy the patient is experiencing  knowing how a beautiful smile can make them feel good about themselves.”
